Double Mix Sweet William

"The Sweet William Double Blend, 'Dianthus barbatus', is prized as a long lasting cut flower and it fills the flower void between spring bulbs, but before summer annuals. The Double Blend is an attractive 18 inch dome of a myriad of beautiful flower colors. The 1/2 inch flowers occur in densely packed flattened heads, 3 to 5 inches in diameter. The flowers colors are white, pink, rose, red, purplish, and bicolored. Sweet Williams bloom in late spring for about 4 weeks. The Sweet William easily reseeds and is always a garden guest."

Cosmos begin blooming 10 weeks after seeding and bloom from summer to first fall frost. They are excellent colorful bedding plants for low maintenance, dry areas and are great for cut flowers. They attract hummingbirds and butterflies."

The crimson stripes on the soft white petal look like an exotic butterfly perched on a stem. The America is very fragrant and is a summer bloomer. They are used for cut flowers and for covering fences and walls if given the proper support."
